NEXT BREWING NOTES: I suggest to drop the efficiency to 60% and adjust all the bill accordingly, as 70% is unrealistic. Brew 2 16.8.19 Fill up the kettle to the border. 10 gms of citric acid. Heat at 74, it was short. Heat 76C next time Pre-boil gravity: 1054 Fermenter gravity: 1061 Final gravity 1011

I got a bit carried away and it ended up as a hoppy foreign extra stout.(thanks Matt Dainty from Renassiance brewing Marlborough NZ for the help with style guideline) ABV is 6.7% in actuality which sits nicely with this beer. Consequently the yeast choice may not be perfect and the mash temp was that of an IPA but it has fermented out nicely at 1.012 sg.
