Notes: I measured the FG of a Bud can - 1.005. It's basically carbonated water with a hint of flavor + alcohol.
If this is accurate it means that the OG is around 1.043 with an Attenuation of around 88%. This makes sense considering major brewers objective is to produce the maximum amount of beer at the lowest cost possible.

NOTE- American Lager Yeast unavailable, substituted Pilsen Lager Yeast.
Achieved the OG I was looking for but not the volume. I was shooting for 6.5 gal but only got 6, therefore, only 68% efficiency.
I rushed this one a bit. Cut the dough-in to only 10 minutes, and only performed one sparge. This could be the reason for the inefficiency.
Primary @ 50 degrees for 10 days, then a few days @ room temperature.
UPDATE - 7/17/21 - Racked into glass, SG - 1.009, ABV 5.1%, right where we wanted it. Will lager for 6-8 weeks @ 35-37 degrees.
UPDATE - 8/26 - kegged after about 10 days of dry hopping
Will make about 55 beers.
Price per 12 oz. serving - $0.49
ACTUAL RESULTS:
