Maris or golden promise - more flavour, may swap?
pilsner - may mismatch hops?
Wheat should be 30/50 % and required.
Oats - 10/20%
Rye Malt 5/10%
New American varietals like Citra, Mosaic, El Dorado, and Idaho 7 provide complex fruitiness and layers of tropical flavor. Classic American hops like Columbus and Centennial can also be used to add some earthiness, dankness, and balance.
Australian hops like Galaxy, Ella, and Vic Secret are used for their juice-like qualities and tropical fruitiness. New Zealand hops, like Nelson Sauvin, Motueka, and Riwaka, are unique and fruity – with more grape, melon, and floral attributes. These Southern Hemisphere hops can be expensive and hard to get your hands on due to overwhelming demand. Don’t hesitate to buy if they’re available – you won’t regret it
If you choose to double dry hop, add about one quarter to one third of the total dry top during fermentation. Add the remaining hops after fermentation has completed.

Notes: Pre-prohibition lager style.
-Golden color, thick, creamy head; full flavor, modest maltiness, subtle sweetness of the corn; balanced hop bitterness; clean bitter finish from the cluster hops.
-Great attenuation, no esters. Very clean and crisp.
-Crystal clear, sparkling.
-Hallertau tradition can be substituted for the stryian hops.
- Lager for 6 weeks. This yeast is very powdery but it will clear brilliantly given a good lagering time. Really good drinking beer.
-Any BMC fan will enjoy this.
Trying JY330 - Dutch Lager yeast from Jasper Labs. (Heineken yeast?) Outcome TBD.
(ARFARFAN'ARF - An old Victorian slang term used to describe a drunken man, meaning he has had MANY ‘arfs,’” or half-pints.) |

A citrus-infused gose - a traditional German sour wheat beer brewed with salt, in this case with the addition of kaffir lime leaf and lemon peel. Play around with the citrus flavour by using differing amounts of lemon peel, orange peel, grapefruit peel, lime peel or kaffir lime leaves.
