| Notes: It is creamy with a roasted, bitter flavor, and a dry finish. The color is very dark. This is a traditional Irish Style Stout. Despite it's looks it is actually lighter bodies and has a lower alcohol content of around 4.5%. This is the original session beer. As the old Irish saying goes “May your home always be too small to hold all your friends", this will certainly be the case when your pouring pints of this beer! |

Notes: I'd like the IBUs to be in the 60-70 range. I like the hop bill, especially the Centennial and Galaxy combo, but am open to changing out Citra. I tend to like the grapefruity flavor it imparts, though. I changed it to a 70 minute boil mostly to increase the IBUs without adding more bittering hops. The ABV is looking to be almost 7, I wouldn't mind it actually being between 7-8%, so feel free to mess with all that.
-Possible addition of citra in dry hop. |

This beer is the shit. I am not sure if it is perle hops or the sweet love of the vienna or the victoy malt I love the most. It is so drinkable and very unique for a pale ale. I would make this 100 more times because it is that good. |
