Notes: inspired by yellow rose by lone pint brewery in texas. theirs is almost 7% but i didnt want to go that high, want more sessionable but also i dont think i can mash that much malt being that my efficiency is pretty low.
their ibu is 62. i considered making mine about the same - in which case my bu/gu would be about 1.02. want it hoppier than maya the beer (which was ibu50 and bu/gu 0.78). but also dont want a hop bomb - want it to taste like a flavorful pale ale, like the original. so im dropping ibu down to about 50 and bu/gu will be around 90. |

Notes: Make typical, but seasonally add things to change seasonal flavor. Like Candied ginger in the winter, rye in the spring, tons more hops in the summer, and fruit/cranberry in the fall!
Possible additions: Cold pressed coffee, cranberry, rye, candied ginger, molasses/dark invert sugars, bourbon soaked oak chunks, figs, cacao nibs, cherries, dried cherries.
