Notes: Amazing nose. Good flavor, but would like more. Might shift the mid hop editions to 15 minutes.
Using a higher balance of chloride to sulfate.
First Dry Hop addition is in primary. Dry Hop 2 & 3 are in secondary.

| Notes: 11/12/17- tasting the vermont/brett sac blend. the last gravity was 1.008 and the other one is still going down (I think flagship yeast). The bubble gum character comes a little too much and might not be a good yeast candidate for this beer. Mouthfeel and head retention is perfect and the malt bill works great. However, I would like to use other hops; these are not the best choice for what I'm trying to do. Citra, centennial, summit, galaxy would be better; maybe with a little N. Sauvin thrown in at flameout too. Might be better to just skip 8 minute addition and go either 5,3,0 or 3,0, or 60,0 with a big addition at flameout. It's a pretty bitter beer but I think the 40 IBU's up front is kinda nice regardless how aggressive it is. It will be all telling how the yeast changes this beer when the other 5 gallons hits terminal gravity. |

Jóóóóó lassan csorgott le hűtés közben. (sok komló?)
Nagyon lassan szűrődött, először 1 mikronos, aztán 5 mikronos papír.

Mehetett volna bele 8 g/l cukor!
Hiba - Roppantott fekete maláta ment bele, nagyon barna jelleget kapott, szinte nem is Rubin. (Előzőleg mint kiderült ugyanennyi nem roppantott maláta ment bele, amit ott aprítógépeztünk meg kicsit)
Komlók jobbak, de így kevésbé is érezni a barnaság miatt. |
