Be careful NOT to burn the maltose syrup. 4. The result will be approximately 24-26 ounces of syrup. 5. Re-crash the syrup by adding wort from the ongoing main boil. 6. Pour the dissolved liquid back in to the main boil.

I was looking to get an ABV of about 2% but ended at 1% Bottle conditioned with table sugar aiming for 2.5 will update in a couple of weeks 03 June, it turned out drinkable which is a relief. Not a lot of flavour, a weak English bitter would be the best description but I think it has promise, will try again either a higher ABV 1.5-2% and or dry hop. Other option is to add some lactose to give it body,
