The basic recipe is from Mean Brews on YouTube but I’ve made a number of substitutions based on what I had readily available so it is by no means a copy. If this show’s promise I will try again next year and be more discriminating in sourcing the materials. I really didn’t like this beer. My neighbors, however, really seemed to like it. I have been making sure they take it home with them a gallon at a time. I think that as I have gotten older my palate has shifted so that I just don’t like lagers either homemade or store bought. Since fermenting and lagering this class of beers is a pain for me this will end my experiments with them.
