Notes
This is a kit I bought (Brewer's Best Robust Porter), but I wanted to see what it does to hop utilization and steeping grains if you split it into a 2.5 gallon batch
Answer - it precisely split it 50/50 - which made it 2 points more bitter. It is a little less ABV and lower O.G.
I just noticed that it is a LOT more bitter than the recipe profile packed with it. Should be 27-31 IBUs - this says 51, but before it was estimated to be 49.
