Notes: 3 "C's" CASCADE - CENTENNIAL - COLUMBUS is my attempt to clean out my fridge and make a batch of beer. I have the hops, and the yeast. Notes: 9 days for fermentation. 1 week in secondary. bottled (1/31/16). Has an almost bourbon flavor with the subtle smoke and the fruity hops. Good bitterness without carbonation. Only produced about 4.5 gal all told so my carbonation might be a bit high (5.5 oz corn sugar). Seems to give me 3.0 volumes of CO2. |
