Nice chewy dark sugar/caramal flavour.
Toffee, dried banana. Bread crust. dye bread dough. Low crab, very dark maybe too dark for style. not super clear. Bitterness good hop taste fruity. ALmost a chutney type flavour in the beer, heavy dried apples, trail mix. |

Notes: Darker more bitter version of Cornish IPA 44. Going for a Best Bitter flavour but with the hoppy taste and aroma.
Using Pacific Ale slow fermenting Yeast slurrey, Dry yeast from an old Extract kit. Now 5th generation. (4 beers previously brewed on this slurry). It goes off like a rocket, like Kveik, done in 3 to 4 days. |

LalBrew® London does not utilize the sugar maltotriose (a molecule composed of 3 glucose units).
Maltotriose is present in wort in an average 10-15% of all malt worts. The result will be fuller body and residual sweetness in beer. Be advised to adjust gravities and mash temperatures according to desired result. Mash at a lower temp to get full yeast attenuation.
Yeast starts fast, and is lively so allow plenty of headspace in FV and use blow off tube. |
