Notes: Inspired by Fruitcake old ale, from Radical Brewing by Randy Mosher, p. 168:
"Brew an old ale, not too hoppy and ferment through primary. ... assemble dried fruit ... Pour boiling water over it to rehydrate; allow to stand for an hour or two to cool and plump, then mix with beer which has been racked into a vessel with some headspace. Allow to ferment for two weeks, then rack off the fruit to another carboy, allow to settle, then bottle... will benefit from several months of aging."

- 1500ml cups water / 4.06 oz DME, boiled for 10 minutes cooled to 66 degrees F and pitched.
Mash at 153 degrees F for 75 minutes
- Strike to 168 degress F
- Mash --> 5.2 gal @ 167 degrees --> first 70 min, vorlauf, drain to kettle
