| Notes: Brewed on Anzac day NZ. The 28th Battalion was the name given to the Mighty Maori battalion of Aotearoa. The roopu were small, but packed a powerful punch, much like the moutere hop and it's 18.5% aa. The Moutere hops signify the support the Battalion gave to their allies in WW1. This beer pays homage to our ancestors who passed fighting for us. |

| Notes: Brewed on 5/11/2019. OG hit 1.060 for 68% efficiency. Used .025 for grain mill gap. Milled only once. Ended up a half gallon low, boiled off more that I expected or should have squeezed the bag more. FG was 1.010 for 6.5 ABV. Flavor is great. Bitterness might be a bit low. May want to add another .25 oz to the 60 minute addition. Overall a solid beer. |

| Notes: Mash all grain 60 minutes @154, fly sparge until 7.0 in boil kettle. Boil with cascade, 20 minute hop stand with 6 oz hops. Then rack to fermenter, pitch US_05 yeast (took about 36 hours for airlock activity). When krausen begins to fall around day 5-6, add dry hops. Let sit on dry hops 3 days. |
