| Notes: Steep grains at 150 F for 30 minutes pull grain bag and add 3 lbs Amber DME, fire burner, bring to boil through the hot break and add 1.5 oz Willamette pellet hops, boil for 40 minutes. add 3 lbs Amber DME and 1 lb Munich DME, bring back to boil through the hot break and add 1.50 oz Willamette pellet hops, finish 60 minute boil. chill wort, top off to 5.5 gallons with cold water. |

| Notes: This is a winner. Using the Windsor rather than Kveik works really well to give a low ABV beer more body. Malt character is really pleasing. Maybe add some Gypsum to the beer pop a little more? Not sure. |

Notes: Steep specialty grains in 1 gal of “Heat 1 gallon (3.8 liters) of water in the brewpot until it reaches 160° F (71° C) ± 10° F (6° C).
Immerse the grain bag in the pot for 30 minutes. The grain bag may be dunked and swirled like a teabag during this time to make sure that all of the grain is wetted. Moving it around will help improve the yield, but don’t squeeze and wring it, because that encourages bitter tannin extraction. Maintaining the temperature during the steep is not important.
After 30 minutes, remove the grain bag from the pot, and let it drain. Do not wring out every drop of wort.
Now you can add the malt extract and any additional water to the boiling pot to bring it up to the boiling volume.”
