We call it a European Pale Ale. Pretty clever, huh? Anyway, this is intended to be about 5%, 40-ish IBU and consists of a grist of UK 2-row, Golden Promise, Belgian pilsner and German dark Munich malt. Some new-school German hops and some standbys are featured to give this strong, juicy citrus aromas and flavors along with some light spice and pine/grassiness. This will be fully fermented with a Kölsch ale yeast.
