Phenylic flavors aren't nearly as high as I expected, with only a mild banana flavor in the background. Sweet up front and a malty finish. Not what I was expecting, but also very delicious. Bottling day 1/8/22 FG: 1.014 | ABV 5.7% | Attenuation 75% Ditto on the previous update. Only slight banana flavor -- more of an essence, with a well balance of spice and malt. Toffee and spicy-almost-woody notes. Very drinkable. Can't wait to see what carbing and a couple months of aging will do to this beer. This beer is already on par with the handful of hefeweizens I've had.
