Notes: Klassisk engelsk winter warmer med rikelig maltsødme og en rund, lett krydret humleprofil. Syv sorter malt gir ølet dybde og toner av karamell, ristede nøtter og nystekt brød. Ølet kan med stort hell serveres til julemiddagen.
Whirlpool: skru av varmen, vent 5 minutter, tilsett humleposen, rør rundt, vent 10 minutter, start nedkjøling.
Lagringstid: Kaldt i minimum tre måneder.
Enkel feilsøking
Det plopper ikke i gjærlåsen: Frykt ikke. CO2 kan lekke ut andre steder. Ta heller en SG-måling og se om tallet er lavere enn OG-målingen.
Jeg traff ikke OG: Våre ølsett er beregnet ut i fra 75% effektivitet. Sørg for god sirkulasjon under mesking, ved røring eller pumpe.
Jeg traff ikke FG: Vanligvis skyldes dette at mesketemperaturen var for høy eller at du brukte for lite gjær. Noter det til neste gang. Husk oksygenering og gjærnæring. |

Notes: Chill the wort rapidly and let the break material settle, rack to the fermenter, and aerate. Rehydrate the yeast and pitch yeast.
Ferment at 16 °C for 4 days then gradually ramp temperature up to 20°C for one or two days. When fermentation is complete, cold crash for 48hrs, add finings, leave for another 48hrs then carbonate.
