Overall first impressions. 1) Darker than intended (SRM 9) This is probably due to boiling the extract for 60 minutes. 2) Taste is fantastic. Lots of clove, banana, and a warmth of alcohol. It's amazing what the yeast can accomplish. Similar to Duvel in taste but with more mouthful. It will be interesting to compare once it's carbonated. 3) I will make this again, but not with extract.
