Notes: Conversion:
Bring 4 gallons to 175F.
Mix grains and split into two batches so 8lbs can fit a 4 gallon pot loosely
Pour half grains into a BIAB bag in the fermentor with 2 gallons water and mix well.
Pour the remaining grains into the boil pot with the 2 gallon & mix well.
wrap both in blankets and stir each every 20 mins for 90 mins
test with iodine.
Pour boil pot grains into fermentor to strain them
lift & drain all grains into fermentor while heating sparge to 175F
Measure and sparge to 3.5 gallons wort
Return to boil pot and boil/hop per normal 90 mins
Protein Crash over ice in the fermentor to get 5+ gallons at pitching temperature; its super fast and bagged ice is sterile enough.

Notes: At flameout, start cooler with low flow/trickle. When temp hits 200, add 10% of whirlpool hops. Continue cooling and adding 10% hops at each 10 degree temp drop until hitting 160-170. Then add remainder of whirlpool hops and steep for 15 min. Continue cooling at full flow.
First dry hop added to primary right as krausen begins to drop and left for 7-8 days. Around day 7 add second dry hop. Transfer to serving keg around day 12-14.
