The first dry hop addition says 1 day because that is how many days into fermentation to add it - add 24 hours after yeast is pitched to take advantage of biotransformation. The second dry hop says 7 days but really that is done at packaging into the keg - and the hops stay in the keg for the duration. I like the Stainless steel dry hop cylinders from amazon, suspended in the fermenter or the keg by dental floss. Makes for easy separation and doesn’t block the keg dip tube. Pellets are important for this dry hop schedule because you can get more into the cylinders but if all you have is lead than cram what you can in - the more the merrier - you will still get a great non bitter punch even with less ounces.
