Notes: Didn't want to add the 1lb of corn sugar to up the ABV.
Decided to omit it and made a couple slight changes to the hop schedule.
Original recipe calls for 1oz of Mosaic @ 60 and 30. I cut it down to 30 and 10 to reduce bitterness.
Hopstand for 20 mins @ 175ish.
I'll be adding an oz of Cascade during the dryhop as well though this isn't really necessary.

Notes: Over-pitched the yeast, but racked it off immediately.
Made a started with Nottingham, but it was dead so added Danstar Munich (on-hand). Emptied the fermenter from an Irish Red and left the yeast - filled wort on top of this yeast AND added the starter. This was too much, but I think it wasn't a problem - maybe I got lucky. |
