Sometimes, ya just gotta do what ya gotta do. The missus got me a carton of New Belgium Trippel last week because I ran out due to delayed bottling of the Tractor Smash.. It wasn't as dark as that red, but it sure was tasty.A bit of a treat. Not inexpensive though.

Did you use a fining agent? I forgot the whirfloc in my lager.
1/2 a whirlfloc in the kettle. Then time. Unless I have a very stubborn yeast, I find most every beer clears with time. The beer above is about 3 weeks in the keg with my old reliable BRY-97.Did you use a fining agent? I forgot the whirfloc in my lager.
