Sometimes, ya just gotta do what ya gotta do. The missus got me a carton of New Belgium Trippel last week because I ran out due to delayed bottling of the Tractor Smash.. It wasn't as dark as that red, but it sure was tasty.
Both the colours and fruits merging closer together in my Apple & Blackberry cider since the last pour a few days ago. It may be difficult keeping off this.
1/2 a whirlfloc in the kettle. Then time. Unless I have a very stubborn yeast, I find most every beer clears with time. The beer above is about 3 weeks in the keg with my old reliable BRY-97.
Anyway some of it should get chance to mature now as I just remembered I bought a small Bavarian selection from Aldi to raise a glass or three to Oktoberfest. And coming back from the dentist this morning I went into Home Bargains to kill an hour before I could eat/drink anything and came away with a 5L mini-keg of Warsteiner - new to me but reads authentic ala purity law and knocked down from £18 to £12. Just two weeks out of date - I've had stuff way past that so it chose itself as the present for my Birthday coming up. Plus I'll get even more value if it proves to be reusable (looks that way). May prove to be a good source for kegs in the future.
Tonight: just a glass of Elderflower wine or should I say Gewurztraminer.
