What are you drinking right now?

It's happy hour! Pale Ale

‘22 Barleywine.

Have to say, I really, really enjoy pulling a BW out every so often. Making one a year, despite the extra effort that goes into brewday, is still well worth it. Very rewarding. And it’s nice to have some beer in the “cellar” for special occasions. (Today wasn’t a special occasion, I just really wanted one. :D )

Finishing off a mini-keg of Old Ale, ABV: 5.5%. This is a youngun at just four weeks since kegging but I did three so decided to try one early. Oak chippings and light carbonation giving it a very English Cask Ale type feel. Taste is already quite good but obviously needs a little time - should be good for winter starting in 3-4 months.
