What are you drinking right now?

I'm excited to be drinking homebrew again. Except for a couple of small samples. I left it alone this week. Tonight I didn't, and my patience is starting to payoff. You need patience with a Saison, especially when your smart ass self decides to ferment the fruit instead of adding it later.

I'm drinking a cup of coffee
07.30 and found a spot if sun to heat up.
Temps went down to 10 oC early this morning (50 F)

Hybrid beer Nova lager fermentation at ale temps on a GF rice grist with too much cane sugar.

This is the beer I brewed when I screwed up the refractometer readings.
About 1kg of cane sugar abd honey went in its alright but would of been better without all that sugar I taste it's hot and thinned out in flavour.

Nine month West Coast Wheat. ABV: 4.5%. No head, that is a reflection of the trees I managed to capture. Excellent carbonation and clarity though. Slightly bloaty for me but the taste is light and refreshing with a soft mouthfeel. Happy with it overall especially as it was my first attempt at a wheat beer.

Street Corn Lager (TM)

@Trialben

Deer Creek Pils, Deer Creek Blue Corn Malt (oven roasted @ 350 for 30 minutes), Magnum, Baja.

Very happy with this first shot at what will be a rotation beer for me. Easy drinker, decent malt presence, interesting depth for a simple Pils-Corn mash, very clean. Leans soft for a lager. The head was a bit underwhelming (maybe the lime fouled that up?) and I certainly could push the oven-roasting to enhance that “street corn” flavor. First shot with Baja and for a half-arsed lager brewer, I can’t point to any off-flavors yeast wise. Hard to tell from the picture, but I’d put the SRM around 5-6 L. This one will go quickly.

The lime was a nice touch. :)

Nice work Megary looks on the pale side of lager spectrum.

Yup I rekon there is oils in them citrus zest peal I feel that destroys any lasting head retention.

I've got a feeling my beach brew might lack in that department but time will tell hopeing to keg this today.

Sweet Pear Cider Tester following one day in the fridge after a five day condition. Tested early as I increased the priming this time. Pretty sure I haven't over done it. Carbonation barely got going yet nor is it fully cleared. Taste is already good though, not over sweet, slightest of bitter sharpness in there which may become more prominent or round out, had em go either way.

That is really pretty. Love the color. World love to try it

Enjoying my Razz-Ma-Tazz - barrel aged for a year, combined with some Jester King, and put on top of six pounds of raspberries for eight weeks. Very tart, nice color, and refreshing. Tasty!View attachment 25753
I have to agree, that looks and sounds fabulous. What happens/do you do with the seeds from the raspberries? There are usually a high proportion in that fruit. I am guessing some sort of filtering but that would produce a lot of waste pulp. I love the taste of raspberries but the seeds would put me off - when I eat them fresh always takes me ages to get the damn seeds out my teeth.
