You would like this one. I soaked dark oak chunks in 2thirds of a pint of Pendleton then dumped it in the 4gal keg, aged and carbed then bottled. Will pull 1 out every so often to "test".

Sure I would like it. Last one I made I used chunks of red wine barrel staves soaked in Early Times for a month. Amazing how good that cheap whiskey was after sitting on the oak. The Barley Wine was good too, especially the last bomber that I drank on its 4th anniversary.

1 was really distinctive and a free point basically, only 2 in 30 odd got more
I named 5 of the 9 beers served but got 2 swapped over .
I'm happy enough and had fun for my first beery day out in a month , I can breathe again !

Got some pretty heavy rain yesterday, so can't use mowing the lawns as an excuse Guess, "because" will have to do.

I have a few bottles of that on my "beer wall of shame" !! There is about a dozen various types of full beers up there, some have been there for over 10 years!

The Bud might be better after aging 10 years. It sure couldn't be any worse.

it took all of a minute or two to finnish very easy drinker. but i understand the flack a mass produced beer like XXXX or VB in Aus would cop a hideing.

Tile is close. Got bullnose left and mosaics around inside of window. Then on to grouting and the floor.
My jalapeno cream ale tastes pretty good about now.
