Looks more than ordinary to me.
I just had a wee sample of the dark mild it's got potential it's quite lite super clean too clean not enough esters to be expected th roast flavour is smooth and ballanced and not astringent.
Will prob keg this tonight.
You used Nottingham in your Dark Mild, correct? I haven't used that yeast much, but when I have, I have always found it rather neutral. A solid performer yes, but rather on the safe side flavor-wise in it's temperature comfort zone. I've never tried to ferment it a bit warm in hopes of coaxing a bit more character from it.

Yeah sure did it's what I had on hand that's just a early pre kegged sample.
Yes I'm amazed how clean it was almost lager like sorta reminded me of when I froze the dark boh and was drinking the lite beer once all the good stuff was gone.

That looks bloody delicious not Nautical Star?

Look at that water all over the cabinet :(.
Om the nose roast slight chocolate faint though. Flavour it's light sorta watery no mouthfeel there is roast flavour it's smooth clean with a nice bitterness just let me down on the body man.
I rekon next run I'll go a lower attenuator more estery yeast and that will fix this.
But you know it goes down the hatch easy just not what I was invisioning. Has a faint cola type flavour which is cool.
Cheers

Jackie O’s a mystic mama ipa. Wife and I ran to eat at a place I love called Patties and Pints. They have 50 taps and always a good variety. Sophie is at my brothers so we snuck out to eat. Embarrassingly only time I’ve eaten in there since Spring 2020. We do get their food to go often though.
