What are you drinking right now?

Anyone else catch the multiple mentions that craft beer got during today's eulogies?

Thank You Mr. President.

Sam Adams Boston Lager is pretty good beer.
its one I always liked. It’s different than it used to be but I like the new version a lot as well. One of a handful of of commercial beers I buy packs of on trips and things.

Their Octoberfest was really good *LAST* year (I had to go back and correct myself). I don't think I'd ever had it before, but it was quite yummy.

One of my favorites at the moment is Straight To Ale's Stout At The Devil. Pretty cool can art and it's almost like eating a big box of alcoholic raisins. I have no clue what the base malt it, but combined with the oatmeal and coffee malts, it is FANTASTIC. Gotta be careful with 'em at 7.8% ABV, though. I can take some serious naps after two of them.

Have a peek.

I brewed this in March, it is really good, just came out a bit murky. I aged itinerary my cold cellar until September. It is a Scottish Wee Heavy, and is 8.7%. I called it "Whole Lotta Rosie", but a better name might be "Innis & Machine Gunn" I only usually have about 6oz pours, it is a "wee heavy"

Looks tasty

Thanks. We were lucky because I saw a weird rumor circulating on social media and decided to be paranoid and fill both of our bathtubs just in case. 3 hours later people started losing water pressure and the city issued a boil water advisory. Also not a bad time to own a 7.5 gallon kettle

So we were able to boil and store several gallons the first day for consumption, and have a very large backup storage of water for flushing/miscellaneous.

It's been a ridiculous situation of outdated utilities infrastructure, years of putting off retrofitting, and a rare ice storm causing a power outage at several critical pumps.
I Just saw this, and I hope you got water back. That brown lager idea is very intriguing though.

I love that glass, do NOT put that in the dishwasher, you want to preserve that logo, the first ever patent in the history of patents!
You meant trademark, Yes?

Anyway, my drink right now: A mix of Aldi dark and medium German low-acid ground coffee. $5 a pound, suits my tastes well.
