While my wife works in the next town (Morro Bay), I am out for a walk to observe nature and enjoy the awesome weather. Wouldn’t you know, my feet led me back to where we landed yesterday. Enjoying another Tripizzle Belgian in this late winter warmth. Gotta do it while I can. Weather forecast calls for winter to return by Thursday.

Returning winter for you is 60F - 65F? I'll give ya winter.....;)
 
It’s pretty weird to walk on the beach on the Central Coast on the last day of February, wearing shorts and t-shirt, under cloudless skies.
Got my bare feet in the water (54F). Usually this time of year air temps would be about 60F - today it’s 75F. Beautiful, but unusual.

Now back at our accommodations, sitting on the east-facing front porch.

All across California right now, temperatures are 15F to 20F above normal. Such a strange winter. Well, it’s supposed to return to normal in a couple days, I hope. Cold beer sure tastes good!

After a grueling hike in the nearby hills, my wife is drinking Deschutes Black Butte Porter, and I’m working on Liquid Gravity West Coast IPA. An awesome hike, during which we saw not a soul, but tons of beautiful wildflowers. From the high points, we had excellent views of our favorite parts of the Central Coast.

Black Butte is a great beer! My first favorite craft beer :D

Back at Beerwood again for the last time. Will be heading home later today. While my wife is working in Morro Bay, I’m out walking and enjoying the natural beauty of Los Osos. Today I’m drinking Deep Clarity IPA by Knee Deep Brewing in Auburn, CA. This is some fine dankness!
