Nice, I like that beer.I used to drink a lot of Total Dom back in the day. I would not have told you it was 80 IBUs, uffda. My tastes buds have changed lol

Embarrassingly simple lol. I had the saaz so I used it. I’ll use use more hallertau next time for that late additionWhat's the recipe Josh? My mrs is after a lager...
Looks great!! How is the 100% Vienna taste? Could you taste a difference compared to a Vienna lager with more Pilsner malt in it do you think?
This is breadier than when I’ve used pils and Vienna.Looks great!! How is the 100% Vienna taste? Could you taste a difference compared to a Vienna lager with more Pilsner malt in it do you think?
Great news!Update from yesterday's beer critique: after a half shift today in the 80F degree California spring, an 80 IBU 7% abv IPA hit the f*cking spot when I walked through the door lol. Turns out my palate adjusted to my "lazier" schedule of late. And other good news: I went back to work today!! It was only a half shift and not my usual "day job," but it still feels great!
It looks good in the glass, and your description sounds like a good brew.First pull of my Grisette, same general region and idea as Saison but more "poundable," a miner's beer. Low alcohol at about 4.5%, some fermentation characters of banana and cloves, a truly sessionable Belgiany beer. View attachment 15493
Glad to see some of your beers on display on here Noseybear. Your descriptor is what I'm.going for in a saison maybe less bannana but I'm easily convinced.First pull of my Grisette, same general region and idea as Saison but more "poundable," a miner's beer. “Clown Shoes Space Cupcake”...that has to be the greatest brewery and beer name ever. Even better when you put the two together.Get back to work!
My wife picked up a few odd singles for me, so this evening I’m enjoying Clown Shoes Space Cupcake IPAView attachment 15492
