What are you drinking right now?

Update from yesterday's beer critique: after a half shift today in the 80F degree California spring, an 80 IBU 7% abv IPA hit the f*cking spot when I walked through the door lol. Turns out my palate adjusted to my "lazier" schedule of late. And other good news: I went back to work today!! It was only a half shift and not my usual "day job," but it still feels great! :)
Great news!

Tonight's selection. Wednesday night has, in the past, been a "boy's Night out" at the pub - well any pub actually, but, due to covid restrictions we have an organised Zoom meeting instead. So tonight I am doing some "research" into some different beer styles for me to eventually copy. I have revamped my Hellish Camden to try and get closer to one I am going to have tonight. Guess which one? From Left to right = 5%,7.5%,4.5%,4.5%,8.5%,8.5%,7.3%.

I am to the point with this one that I think every pull will be the last one:(, a few glasses ago the foam was a little excessive, so I have been shutting off the gas and venting a bit of the pressure to get a nice pour. Still not the last pull, but I suspect it will come later tonight:(, sure is a nice evening to sit out though :D

I posted about this one recently, didn't realize that I had one in the fridge, I need to get a good recipe for a scotch ale like this. This is malty, but has some bitterness, but with some burnt, but not over burnt flavors to it. It us 7.5%, and tastes guilty as charged

Almost getting a little Christmas cake from it too. I need to see if I can grab some of these and save them for Christmas time actually

Didn't have the heart to go back and kill it tonight, went for a pull O' the Cragunitas instead! This one is Q' worthy! Previous brews were lighter in color, but my new base malt is pretty much a Maris Otter malt. Love what it has brought to all of my brews!
