Notes: Brew day went OK, forgot to add whirfloc and yeast nutrient though. Topped off with 24 ounces cold water to get just above 3 gallons.
Added 3 grams gypsum and 1.5 grams CaCl to the 3.25 gallons of water that extract was mixed with along with a pinch of campden.
Wort had a nice hoppy flavor |

| Notes: This was OK. Color was a bit dark for my liking. I would definitely lighten it up in the future. I think hops, for our goal being a LIGHTLY hopped, easy drinking pale ale, were on the money. I may increase these 5-10% in a future brew just to help them be a bit more noticeable. Not an extraordinary recipe, but solid. |
