What's your next brew

Gonna do something bazaar this weekend. The plan is to brew 3 beers starting Friday night and 2 on Saturday and sleep all day Sunday:eek:
Why you say? Well the weather is improving and it is time to break out the golf clubs. I rather drink my beer on the course than the offerings the course has. I don't want to have to choose between playing and brewing, although I enjoy brewing a smidge more.

Are you using the chainsaw to grind your grains now Ben?
Yeah mate you get that extra grind on :D.

My lovely neighbour across the road is retired and gave it a once over for me for nothing.
It's a win win he gets to dick around with it fixing it up in his spare time and my chainsaw gets serviced everyone's happy and he gets all the beer he wants off me. Lol

After decades of golfing I have only ever progressed to the point where I just make enough good shots not to give up altogether on it. With brewing on the other hand, I feel that I have become very, very good at it in a relatively short period of time. So I'm with you on preferring to brew, than golfing!

Doing a couple czech lagers next; a pale lager and a run of Shady Boh :) Pale lager is getting 34/70, and Shady is getting a repitch of White Labs San Francisco lager yeast. Same hopping schedule for both beers too; Cluster to bitter (homegrown by Bulin himself!) and Saaz for flavor. Gonna pressure ferment the pale lager around 15 psi and ferment both around 60F. Should be in time for some nice spring weather we're starting to get!

Brewing the Belgian from the quarterly brew. Bought all the ingredients yesterday, will be using the CrossMyLoof Belgian yeast @AHarper so kindly shared with me. I will have to build a starter, and I have a packet of BE-256 as a backup. Next week sometime I think, maybe Sunday.

an awful lot of dextrin, that will have some body for sure

Well, Viking says usage un to 30%...I just cut it to 10, seems like I overdid the dextin one other time now that you mention it...finished a batch of Shady Boh way too heavy and sweet(probably the reason I still have so much dextrin, haven't been using it).
