And here I am feeling proud about itAw, gee Ben. It breaks my heart to see rats nest wiring like that.
Hm. Rats, rats nest... maybe there's a connection? And here I am feeling proud about it
Lucky I don't do it for a day job.
Tough being an engineer sometimes, especially an electrical engineer, when looking at someone else’s work. Dealing with “It’ll work, just finish it up and move on to the next project” as we speak. Wish I had the ‘electrician’ that wired this house by the nape of the neck. Lotta shortcuts and laziness that has caused quite a bit of extra cost and plan changes. It’s one thing to save a few inches of wire by not going to top of the wall top plate when there’s a soffit, but a whole other level of stupidity to run a circuit overhead on the main level for a dishwasher when there’s a perfectly good basement (where the distribution panel is) to run the wire in, meaning 20 feet less wire and keeping the wire IN THE WALL. The white wire was my doing when I had the siding done about 8 years ago, but all it needs is a notch to get it out of the way. The black one is original wiring for the dishwasher and comes up the wall in the opposite corner of the kitchen and back down to nearly floor level. It would have taken half the wire if installed under the floor. The jerks did this with EVERY circuit that runs through the attic (including this one) instead of drilling the top plate and running the wiring through it.Hm. Rats, rats nest... maybe there's a connection?
On the other hand, if it works, the wiring is correct. It's just how pretty you make it.
Alright Donoroto show me yours and let me judge then!Hm. Rats, rats nest... maybe there's a connection?

LOL. Mine WAS neat until I modified the relay wiring for the fan. Still a work in progress and not yet exactly what I want. The missus is generous, but would probably take issue if I put her kitchen lower in the priority list. She feeds me, so I always get the last word. “Yes dear.”Same for you mister big pants electrical engineering man!

I'll take some next time I brew. Mine isn't permanently wired into my fermenting fridge. I just powered some receptacles with it and plug the fan, heater, and fridge into those. Was supposed to brew Monday, but a fallen tree took priority, then back to the kitchen remodeling on Tuesday. I've got a couple more things to do to get the kitchen walls and ceiling all sealed up, and plan to brew before I start putting the cabinets in. It should be ready to bottle by the time I finish the cabinets. Got another easy SMaSH to do, or an Oatmeal Stout. I'd repitch the yeast from the latest brew, but the SMaSH brews are about tasting the different malts and hops to get a better working knowledge of them, so I don't want any variables other than hops and malt in them. I may find a good belgian to do next so I can repitch the S-33.Photos mate!
Common or it didn't happen
Some wiring on my cnc machine.Alright Donoroto show me yours and let me judge then!
Ah so that's how it's done good work I'll give you an A for that a little too neat for my liking but hey you can't have everything in this world .Some wiring on my cnc machine.

I have been thinking about getting a new brew bag. I have been using the same 2 Home Depot paint strainer bags since starting this obsession back in the early part of 2019. Somehow those bags are still working, but I know some day they will fail.New brew bag.
Wow that's Perdy! Here's my brew panel:

That's well lived mine get little holes in them that eventually let too much grain through.I have been thinking about getting a new brew bag. The brew bag brand is rounded at the bottom which I like for less mess. I needed a new one since I left mine outside last week when I brewed and nature starting growing stuff on itI have been thinking about getting a new brew bag. Pretty amazing how quickly and how many new life forms appear in the worst places when there’s a little sugar and some yeast or mold involved. I missed rinsing one bottle that still had a little yeast in it. It nearly filled up with whatever it was growing (in a dark bottle inside a box in a dark room) in less than 3 weeks. I didn’t bother trying to clean that out. Not worth the trouble nor risk of contamination of the rest my gear. The brew bag brand is rounded at the bottom which I like for less mess. this guy makes really great product. had mine for like 7 years before I accidentally ripped a big hole in it. bought another one.I have been thinking about getting a new brew bag.
