Before all the Amazon garbage, I used to be able to find some of their beers at Whole Foods, and they were good. I can no longer find anything close to that at a Whole Foods. All the big boys now.

Not necessarily the best brewery as far as business sense goes, but dear lord, their beers are always fantastic. And a great place to visit as well. Get your hands on their beer if and whenever you can, because lord knows when their end will come.

Don't think I've ever seen their label around here. But that sounds like a nice stout.

It is pretty good. Thanks for your help on this. I used Cellar Science German yeast on this one.

My budget extract American Stout, ABV: 5% at six months. Could see it was over carbonated in the bottle so decided this was a good time to dust off my old tankard. More foam than beer at the moment but very nicely matured.

So after a week of no drinking, then almost a week away (drinking mainly red wine) I am now having a tripel.

I have extra beer from the fermenter of Festbier. It’s tasty. Of course the keg will sit a month in the refrigerator. It’s bready touch of hop spice and clean.
