More of my first Ginger Beer, ABV: 7% at four months (keg). Slightly better out of a mini-keg than the bottles and even moreso now the carbonation has reduced after a couple of days. I tried it with a dash of lime cordial last time which was okayish. Still not fully convinced but it is drinkable and at least works wonderfully as a mixer 50/50 with sweet cider which is what is about to go in there whilst I wait for my ribs.

Traveling again, so more commercial beer. This is St John's Irish Red Ale from Toms River Brewing in NJ. Nice beer, plenty of Maris Otter maltiness, just a touch of EKG bitterness. And that color!

Note that I have taken the suggestion to carry along a travel glass.
