What are you drinking right now?

I used to work smelling distance from The Bruery, they make some big beers.
I used to live between the Budweiser brewery and the Jelly Belly jelly bean factory. Depending which way the wind was blowing we had great brewing smells or a sweet sugary smell in the house.

Simple cider

Apple juice and higjly carbonated.
This was kegged.
And I just keep topping up with CO2 as I like highly carbonated cider
Cider would be a nice one to start your kegging journey with @Herm brews

My plan is to put Red Wheat for Winter in the keg as the first brew. Somehow it would not seem right to put just one gallon in a 5 gallon keg. Maybe our next cider batch could be upsized to better utilize the keg. Or maybe I need more kegs?

Rabbit hole :) :)
You were warned!

My kegs are 8 litre and I ferment 5 to 8 litre juice per time
I happen to like cidet and whenever a fermenter is free and I got no specific other plans, I just pour apple juice on the old trub.
This batch was done with it's own yeast, which may be why it is clearer than usual.
And I used brewing salts, although I don't think that has an influence on the clarity

If you need to store just a gallon, go ahead. Once carbonated, you can always bottle it. It goes a little slower (gotta manage the foam) but cap on the foam and you're good.

That was just one Evil Twin beer? That's a bit of a crazy mashup.

I'll probably cracked open a porter, base on Mosher'so Radical Brewing. Really nice molasses like taste from boiling a bit of the wort down first.

And maybe I'll have one or two bottles of my hop test batches. Been meaning to taste those a bit more critically and post some results here. Damn real life getting in the way
Porters are my go to brew, even in the summer!

Deschutes Obsidian Stout, poured from a bottle. I want to build up my stock of longneck bottles, so this helps in that effort. And it’s a really good beer.
I love beers on the dark side, so I'll have to try deschutes.
