What are you drinking right now?

Last two beers. Both have been really good!

I love this saison! Fruity and just slightly tart.

This is a nice brown. Not sure I’m getting hazelnut but it’s definitely nutty flavor. Very malt forward, but it doesn’t wipe out the hops. A good balance for my taste buds.
Nice dedication on the can too. I am getting vibes of soft, full mouthfeel off that.

Just in time for me to compare a brown English ale, a smoked porter. Might have to work out a swap meet.
Geez, we're something like 3 hours apart.

At the moment, my car is unhealthy. I'm working the problem, and really can't get into the details, other than the engine control unit decided to melt. I'm on my way to fixing it, but I absolutely have to know what caused it in the first place before I can go any further. So far, everything is blank.

For what it's worth, I've been doing this all my life. Fixing cars that is.

Frankenbeer 3.2 (third variation, second batch) a spin-off of @Bulin's Milker Bucket Brews 3 Day Weekend. Great clarity this batch, Maris Otter really popping, pretty darn close to Dubbel parameters. ABV on this is forward of 6.5. Nice subtle bite from Centennial hops, but low IBU (24) so it doesn’t rip out my tongue. Getting very smooth and boozy as it matures. I think this is worth doing again. Almost like an ear of sweet corn. This might be a good one to skip DR and keep the butter flavor. Sorta movie butter popcorn theme.

Yeah, ECU’s don’t normally just fry themselves. They’re normally pretty tough. Hope you get it worked out quickly.

One day we’ll have to meet up somewhere and bend an elbow.
