What are you drinking right now?

its very good but Ill warn you depending on your water and the yeast you use it can change the taste drastically, my house yeast is BR-97 its so clean for an ale yeast but I also ferment it at 62 F

I'm usually around 64 and use s-05 as my house beast. I might try 97 again, but man, in the past it's been a real slug for me. Some say 05 throws off some peachy characters at low temps and I can admit to picking that up myself sometimes, but I guess it's one of those characteristics that I like?

yeah not a big fan of 05 anymore, too many off flavors recently and this yeast is a bit different because its high floc but never had any off tastes with it, you do need 2 weeks with it though

Funny how everyone's tastes can be different. Guess that's why we homebrew. We can make it how we like it!

wait your efficiency is much lower than mine use 2 flaked rice and it will be close to 5%

I squeezed another Blond out

Looks tasty, might need to do that next.

This Janet's brown ale is one tasty brew. I'd like it maybe just a hair darker, but its absolutely delicious as is. About the time it hits its prime, the keg will kick. Unfortunately at that point...I'll have to brew another!

Bittersweet ending of the 1 year anniversary edition of our first home brew of the Moose Drool clone “Caribou Slobber”. Although the clone recipe is from Northern Brewer, all the ingredients were purchased from my local HBS. Bittersweet as it’s sooooo delicious and clear as a bell, but almost gone. Awaiting the pfffffft any pour now.

Sampling my Saison and witbier. Got a bit of a sharp bite to them that might be from finishing out lower than expected. Overall drinkable though. Will leave them to keg condition till it actually gets warm here.

The last Sierra Nevada Celebration. Hope I can find more. Love this beer and look forward to it every year.
