Are you liking hoppier brews more these days?

I've always loved hoppy beers! west coast IPAs and pale ales are my favorites. Not a big fan of NEIPAs in general, but I have enjoyed some good ones from time to time

That looks like a really nice beer....... I miss bourbon barrel aged beers.

Lucky for you (and your friends) that you can do something about that! Of course that assumes you can get hold of bourbon and oak chips.

Drinking my Lager Express from the ferm keg. The other 2 gallons are conditioning for a few days. I hope it clears up. This still has quite a bit of yeast in suspension.

It's a relatively small brewery in a really small town a bit south of Munich. They even run a hotel there just for people visiting the brewery. If you're ever in the area it's definitely worth a night.

I am getting there, starting to plan out an extract brew, and gathering some new gear so I can do NO LIFTING. Back is greatly improved, but I have a long way to go.

I have plenty of bourbon at home.... but it's not quite the same a beer that has been aged in a barrel. Tried some bourbon soaked oak chips in a stout and it was .....ok.... just not quite the same.

Only the 1 cylinder. Sodastreamer with 1 cylinder and 2 bottles : 200 dollar

But I got 2 old old old bottles and they can still fill those

After a couple lagers (mosi), I felt it was time to try my French Saison. It's a trial bottle and has only been in the fridge for 2 days.
First impression: I like
Bit more bitter than my usual beers. Not overly carbonated, but about right.
I'll make space in the fridge and move all bottles across.
