Just last Sunday as my wife and I hiked in our neighborhood, we wondered how to use these fruits of the cactus plant that grows widely just a short walk from home. These fruits, called pears or tunas, are covered in tight bunches of fine thorns, protecting a juicy, seedy flesh that provides color and flavor.
An interesting beer, but not one I’d want more of. Might make an interesting beer cocktail paired with tequila.
