View attachment 17466 At La Quinta Brewing Co. Palm Springs Taproom, just a short walk from our previous beer stop. I’m having the full pour, Even Par 7.2 IPA, while she has Heatwave Amber Ale. I think they may have used my recipe for the amber ale - tastes just like mine. Nearly full moon just above the red traffic light.

Yep, that is typical Palm Springs, where evening temps were high 80’s to low 90’s after daytime highs in the low to mid 100’s. Unfortunately, many of our intended destinations (museums and galleries) were closed, so we spent a little too much time imbibing.

Irish Red

I brewed an Irish Red earlier this month, hoping to get it in the keg to carbonate by the end of this week. Looks good, can't wait to pour mine.

This one was a left over northern brewer kit. It’s sweeter than the one I usually make. More in line with an American interpretation. The Buddy I made it with loves it so it’s a win. So do the wives

A small pour of my 80 shilling. Nice touch of roast and some sweetness. Pretty good balance and finishes pretty clean as well.
