What are you drinking right now?

Vienna Lager

Well done!
I don't really have weight issues, it's more just a check on my will power ;)
But really more the idea that I recently just drank too much to my liking.

Not too worry: I'll get over it :)

Local hoppy pale ale. It's good, but I wish it was more bitter and less hoppy. It's riding that dank/juicy line too close for my liking. This is why I hate buying new pales/IPAs anymore, there'll all NEIPAs in disguise lol I like the can art though

It seems most of the beers I have bought in the past couple weeks strongly represent the Citra and Mosaic blend. In a week and some days, I should be adding this same combo as dry hops in Wayner’s Pale Ale. The beer I’m drinking now (see post above) uses the combo.

That one was Citra/Mosaic too!

Don't forget galaxy and centennial.
I ended up hopping Wayner-s with centennial and mosaic will have to try citra mosaic next time around.

I also used Centennial and mosaic. I used cascade to fill in the rest since I didn’t have as much centennial as I thought.

I just poured another bottle of my amber ale, and couldn’t even get the bottle over my glass before there was a beer fountain. Over the past few weeks this has become an increasing issue with this particular batch. This beer was in primary for 26 days, after which the FG was 3 points higher than projected. This batch was bottled on February 20. In reviewing my brew log, it seems I might have over carbonated this beer. I projected 2.5 gallons to package at 2.5 volumes at 68*F, which indicated 2.2 ounces of table sugar. Well, I filled 24 12-ounce bottles (288 ounces/128 ounces/gallon) which is 2.25 gallons. According to the calculator, I would have added 2.0 ounces of table sugar to carbonate 2.25 gallons at 68*F. Does anyone agree or have some other explanation for my bottled beer fountains.

Seems like the most likely candidate.

@Megary Would you rather drink a Rolling Rock, or one of these hard kombuchas? :D
I'm waiting on some homebrew to carbonate, but there is beer coming down the pipeline eventually!

Kombucha for sure! Now don’t get me wrong, there is a side benefit to drinking Rolling Rock. It makes your next beer taste sooooo much better. :p

I had a long history with RR back in the day. Those green bottles may have looked attractive on the shelf, but they did nothing to protect the beer inside. But...when you are young, poor, desperate, and maybe slightly outside the law  you live with what you get. A few years back I had one and I decided that one was enough to meet my life’s quota. I hope Rolling Rock is not a sponsor to this site...

I have had that happen recently in the last bottle batches. I dose each bottle and More sugar gets in some.
