Thanks! Here's the bottled version of the Oktioberfest. It is nice and clear and has a nice light carbonation at this point (Stuff in the Keg had just been moved - house to house).Nice curvey Sam Adams glass! That beer looks good, great color.

Nice and clear!Bitter. Forgot it was in the back of my fridge. Wasn’t the best bitter I’ve made (pun intended) but this is the last bottle and best of the batch. A little lighter only color than normal for my bitters View attachment 11792
Different Great Lakes, you are referring to the Great Lakes in Ohio, this is the Great Lakes in Toronto, both very, very good brewersOhhh! @Craigerrr! Great Lakes!! Good stuff! Check out their "Edmund Fitzgerald Porter" if you can get that as an import!
I'd buy that for the name alone lol.9 Toed Sloth, 8% Stout, heavy on the chocolate and coffee

When we go on our next Football trip, I will be looking for it! Not this year obviously, hopefully next year?
You are correct. Both have similar type fonts so I thought they were just the American and Canadian counterparts of the same company. But Google says the one in Cleveland Ohio started in 1986 and is named "Great Lakes Brewing Company" and the one in Toronto started in 1987 and is named "Great Lakes Brewery". Well next time you come to the US put this (Edmund Fitzgerald Porter) on your beer list. Looks like they distribute in the midwest down to Kentucky and northeast down to Virginia in the US.
