What are you drinking right now?

Nice curvey Sam Adams glass! That beer looks good, great color.
Thanks! Here's the bottled version of the Oktioberfest. It is nice and clear and has a nice light carbonation at this point :) (Stuff in the Keg had just been moved - house to house).

Ohhh! @Craigerrr! Great Lakes!! Good stuff! Check out their "Edmund Fitzgerald Porter" if you can get that as an import!
Different Great Lakes, you are referring to the Great Lakes in Ohio, this is the Great Lakes in Toronto, both very, very good brewers

Troegs - Farmette

Has to be one of the strangest beers I’ve ever had. Hard to believe this is a Saison as there really isn’t a lot of clove or spice. But stick your nose in the glass and you get this awesome outdoor/farm/woodsy thing going on. Carbonated like champagne, the taste has a bit of funk and a sour bite...with a little whiskey-ness in the finish (probably the oak). But that aroma is incredibly bizarre. I doubt this beer is around much, but if you ever get the chance, you have to try it. You’ll either love it or hate it. But I doubt you ever had anything like it.

Unintentionally hazy. My house IPA is always a bit on the hazy side, even fining with gelatin. No doubt a product of the M42 yeast and dry hops. Decided not to fine since I'm using a Top Draw in the keg. This has been in the keg for a week now and no signs of clearing. At least it ain't "Juicy" :)

o_O?

You are correct. Both have similar type fonts so I thought they were just the American and Canadian counterparts of the same company. But Google says the one in Cleveland Ohio started in 1986 and is named "Great Lakes Brewing Company" and the one in Toronto started in 1987 and is named "Great Lakes Brewery". Well next time you come to the US put this (Edmund Fitzgerald Porter) on your beer list. Looks like they distribute in the midwest down to Kentucky and northeast down to Virginia in the US.

When we go on our next Football trip, I will be looking for it! Not this year obviously, hopefully next year:(

Breaker Brewing (Wilkes-Barre, PA) - Patch Town Chocolate Peanut Butter Porter

Chocolate forward with a Nutter Butter finish. Way better than I thought it was going to be. I’m on a mission to sample every local beer that I can. :D
