Irish Stout

Now this one was fast and lazy I used some 4L dry extract and hallertau hops at 60 minutes. Was just going for East fast and easy drinking it worked in those regards.
My last Kveik blonde a few months ago was real tasty to me. I went 85% 2 row, 5% 60L and 10% wheat and cascade at 30 ibu which is probably too hoppy for style but I liked it

I am looking to get some of those fruity esters i keep hearing about in Imperial a44

I'll be taking the Kveik plunge this weekend on my tried and true brown brew...what's recipe did you use for your blonde Jnh??
I take that back on the one pictured. Lookin back I went 50/50 hallertau and saaz with the saaz at 15 minutes around 30 ibu.

Nice color. What did you use grain wise? Tell me about eldorado hops

This is the source recipe: https://www.brewersfriend.com/homebrew/recipe/view/788056/kveik-smash-. I'm listing this link because I want to give credit where credit is due. However, I made the following changes:
* Switched the Golden Promise to Maris Otter because that is what I had on hand.
* Reduced amount of grain by 1/3 because I didn't want a 9% beer for a summer thirst-quencher.
* Switched the yeast to WLP521 because LHBS was out of Omega OYL-091.

The El Dorado hops gave a wonderful tropical fruit/citrus aroma with a hint of pineapple. Even though it was a Double IPA the hop bitterness was perfect; not over the top at all. I definitely be making this one again, but will try it with the original recipe's grain and yeast.

This one is tasty: Centennial pale ale. Definitely maltier than anything else I've made. This batch was split in 2 and half of it dry hopped for 7 days (the 2nd photo). The dry hop bottle was a great tasting pale. The regular batch tasted more like an amber, but I'm digging both of them :)

Funny story about the Bengals-Steelers rivalry the game In which Carson Palmer caused me to drink twice as much which was rough the next day going in to teach. I’m pretty sure that was a day of book work ;)

Just tapped my Maerzen,,, it's been lagering since March. Normally I would serve it at our Oktoberfest party in the foothills but this year, no bueno. It'll be in my LHBS's Oktoberfest competition, going for five medals in a row this year and it's as good as it's ever been.

That’s a nice Stein! I’ve not tried the beer but plan too whenever I see it..

having another Sam 76.
