Its a timer/controller. When you add grain, it starts, when the hopper empties, it stops.

I put grain, my arm starts swinging that handle. No way it continues afther the hopper is empty

Making some more segments for my Aussie Impa Native bee hives ATM

Stackable segmented hive design adapted from the South Americans hive designs.

These rebates should have some plastic plates in them but using Timber strips this time.
Helps to avoid slumping of the Brood upon separation.
The Brood is usually the size of a human fist in circumfrance .

Not from these little fellas they put out about 1kg I've read a year far less than their European counterparts.

But I'm replacing what I'm killing i feel carrying out my pest control operations .

Working the woodpile again, made a hookeroon from a spent saw bar

so I could pick up a second log much easier. The thing is ugly as hell but works like a champ!

Hooker, picker or an axeroon...check out Peaveys of Maine if you want an authentic one....Fiskars makes modern ones.
