I brewed today!

I lost about 1.25 gallons on that day. No lid here! I am happy to boil off the DMS.

I cheat a little and leave lid on until I get a boil to speed it up a little then lid off .
I brew in the shed so wind is not a factor .
Really should lag my urn again since last lot fell to bits

Will likely do that once I get to all-induction brewing but with my propane burner, not necessary!

I have the lid on but cracked and tilted to allow steam to drip outside the kettle, i keep it that way till 200F then its off

Lemondrop Saison is in the fermenter and hit all the numbers. Photos attached show that everything goes into the fermenter (cloudy and clear) but through a nylon hop filter bag.

I was a dumbass yesterday being my Czech lager and ended up with a gallon more water than I wanted, still turned out ok though but it definitely screwed with my numbers.

Apricot Blonde base brew is in the fermentor. It's about the sloppiest brew I've done in forever, not a lot of measuring, just going with it. Seems to have worked!

Hey, sometimes autopilot works better than fully planned brews that don't work as planned.

It's a one-off for a party we have every year, a special request from a friend. So I'll make it. I know it will come out well so I just chose not to fuss over it this time.

Last of the party brews is in the fermentor. I decided to brew a blonde ale, replacing the crystal with Vienna, the hops with German Noble Hops. I suppose, apart from the two rehydrated packets of US-05, I could call it a Kolsch.

Heating the strike water now. Propane burner works like a champ. Trying to recreate a black English IPA I made a while back, see if there's anything I can do to tweak the recipe

Side note, no matter what I do I can never seem to post a pic. It's always too large, even if I'm on the smallest photo quality option

On my phone I have resize to 1000px or less before it will upload, you may have to get an app to do it

Did a smash today with Maris otter, or rather two. I split it to two boils, one with cascade and one with amarillo.

There’s a 1 meg file size limit for pictures. I email them to myself from my iPhone to resize it.

That knowledge may not be good cause I’m not sure the ability for me to send a pic would be in my best interest

I just use imgur so I don't have to mess around. Ordered a second burner on Friday, when my buddy gets the steel we're going to start working on my 3 tier brew rig. I'm going to use gravity to minimize parts.

Same here. I email it to myself on the iPhone and I phone asks what size to send and I pick anything under 800k.
