Yup, been there. I seem to get sidetracke....Luckily I turned around as it was about 1/4 inch from going all over the floor and had a spray bottle handy.

Mine stays attached for this very reasonOpened the spunding valve, the aroma was amazing. It brought me back to the Hofbrauhaus. Broke the seal early and put the floater on. Sample 15 min later. Really good. Love the pressure; samples and beer is already partially carbonated.

I think for a "fresh hop" beer you just toss them in but I would use them soon. If not, then you can dry them for long term storageI "think" those are Cascade. I have a small bag of Centennial and a small bag of Chinook.
I just don't know how to use them, do they have to be dried first?
