I brewed today!

IPA of the 3 C’s is in the fermenter with Imperial Loki (Voss). Sample for OG is still a little warm, but refractometer sample read 15.0*Brix/1.061+ which means I got a little more wort at a little lower gravity than last batch. Still close to recipe projections. Wort smells and tastes good!

Brewed a mild brown ale yesterday, and first time using Safale 04 (a huge leap from 03 :). Second time with the induction and new kettle. Still learning, but so far so good. Just under four gallons into the fermenter.

OH NOOOOOO!! went to pull a quality control sample of Helles, I forgot to put the floating dip tube on the coil assembly for my Kegmentor. Damn. Its been fermenting 5 days, and holding at 8psi, perfect to push out a little taste. what a fail

Opened the spunding valve, the aroma was amazing. It brought me back to the Hofbrauhaus. Broke the seal early and put the floater on. Sample 15 min later. Really good. Love the pressure; samples and beer is already partially carbonated.

Brewed up an American Amber Ale this morning. I had a half pint of White Labs Australian WLP009 yeast trub stuff saved from the Tasmanian Devil I made last month so I used that instead of the 05 I usually use.
I have to remember to not get side tracked when the wort is about to boil. I was weighing out the hops for the brew as it came to a boil behind my back. Luckily I turned around as it was about 1/4 inch from going all over the floor and had a spray bottle handy.

Mine stays attached for this very reason;)

I "think" those are Cascade. I have a small bag of Centennial and a small bag of Chinook.
I just don't know how to use them, do they have to be dried first?

there is 17 ounces of what I think is Cascade, about 4 ounces of Centennial and 5 ounces of Chinook.

I think for a "fresh hop" beer you just toss them in :) but I would use them soon. If not, then you can dry them for long term storage
