What's your next brew

Another SMaSH, hopefully this weekend. First one's in the bottles. US Pilsner, Simcoe, and S-33. Next one will be 10 lbs of 2-Row, 1 oz. of Mosaic, and S-33. Doing some simple stuff so I can get a better idea what's influencing who and how. Kinda training the taste buds a little, even if I don't particularly like a plain beer. Plain beer will tell me more than a fancy one will.

Still gotta clean up the fermenter. Filled it up with water and left it out in the sun a couple days to help kill any dark-side critters or grow them big enough to see them so I can scrub it good. Put a couple tablespoons of bleach in too to help the light do it's thing. Gotta order some cabinets for our kitchen renovation today, and will finish cleaning up the fermenter after that.

Still nothing as I am not allowed to lift anything over 5 kg
But pretty soon ;)
And with the waythe weather is going, it will probably be a kveik brew

I may brew Sunday during the Browns game with my SIL.
We finally got his water dialed in and the last beer came out good.
I'm thinking session IPA but it's yet to be determined.

Sorry to hear about your limitation, back troubles?
I feel your pain, my recovery is coming along really well, I hope you feel better soon:)

Seeing all this ginger beer, I am contemplating a simple one...
Boiling 4 litre water with 800 gr sugar and a couple of limes. Last minute addition of ginger & maybe galangal, just for sanitation.
Then everything in fermenter, adding 4 litre (cold, boiled) water & yeast.
That way I only need someone to help me lift the fermenter when it's time to bottle or keg.

Just need to figure amounts of ginger/galangal
And a yeast...

This was all dried so I was actually winging it lol it threw it all outta wack 10g boil 30g WP 30g DH ...

Hey didn't realise your back was stuffed until @Craigerrr chimed in today.

FWIW wishing you a quick recovery Zambezi

Thanks @trial ben and @craigerr
It's not my back though. Luckily no problem there.
I had an operation 2.5 weeks ago, recovering nicely, just having to take it easy for a couple weeks more
Get better soon. Gotta be thankful for little things, meaning at least it isn’t your back. I hope it wasn’t a shoulder (rotator cuff surgery). That’s a 10 month healing process. I’ve had 3, so I know of what I speak. Wishing a speedy recovery.

Thanks @trial ben and @craigerr

Get well soon! BTW, the grand reserve clone came out nicely.

Swartzbier is up next for me. Followed by a Marzen and a dunkel.
"Use the Schwartz"...

Tomorrow I'm brewing a basic pale ale with my next door neighbor. He used to brew, knows that I do, and asked if I'd help him brew something for a gathering he is hosting in a month. He has long since sold his plastic pails and empty bottles, so I offered to brew, ferment & keg it for him.

Doesn't hurt to be nice to the neighbors.

Glad to hear you are on the mend, sounds like you are going about things sensibly.
