To me a tropical fruit bouquet

But someone recently said he smelt weed in there too like a dankess hmmm I suppose but to me it's more Mangoes pineapple passionfruit

My second clone of Woodforde's 'Wherry' (Amber Ale) from their own replica kit. Just 4 weeks old. No real head as yet but the lacing and carbonation are already to my liking. Taste is slightly floral with minimal bitterness - deceptively lighter feel but it soon kicks in. ABV of 4.5% that is over my threshold for a session brew as it proved - 1 litre bottle with dinner does me just fine. I think I get why this is that brewery's flagship ale. Gotten too late for caffeine so having a slow small glass of 12 year old Glenfiddich single malt. These two go very well in tandem.

Love that 12-year Glenfiddich. One of my favorites for over 40 years.

Cheers another variable thrown into the mix when you malt your own I suppose...

Nice came out a tad paler than blond aye

Looking good man what's the beer tasting like it should be pretty restrained on bitterness but nice and full mouthfeel with big hop flavour and aroma....
It is as you stated and I'll make this again.

Great looking beers! Keep up the good work and you'll open your own GF beer hall.
